Hall of Fame
Dale Russell played on the men's soccer team from 1973-76. He was a four-time All-American, including a three-time first team selection. Russell is the school's all-time leader in points (198) and goals (81) and ranks second in assists with 36. He also holds the single-season records for goals (26, 1974) and points (62, 1974). Russell led the 1974 NCAA Tournament with six goals and one assist for 13 points. During his career, the Rams posted a 54-10-3 record (.828) and advanced to the NCAA Tournament all four years.
Professionally, Russell played in the North American Soccer League and the Major Indoor Soccer League. He also appeared in one game for the U.S. National Team.
