The 1992-93 Rams posted a school record for wins in a season, finishing with a 30-2 mark. The squad was ranked as high as second in the nation and tied the University mark with a 28-game win streak during the campaign.
Philadelphia Textile won the New York Collegiate Athletic Conference and the NCAA East Region title before falling in the Elite Eight. Their loss to Wayne State in the national quarterfinals was their only defeat against a Division II team.
The team lost just one game during the regular season, coming against Division I La Salle. The Rams boasted multiple All-Americans and five players that scored 1,000 points during their respective careers. Four school records are held by members of the 1992-93 squad.
