Jefferson University

What We Do

The Thomas Jefferson University cheerleading program aims to uphold a strong performance and image across all its activities. These qualities are anticipated from every Ram cheerleader consistently.

Cheer team members act as university ambassadors both on and off-campus, fostering school pride, boosting morale, and encouraging participation. The demanding cheer preparation, training, and game responsibilities require regular attendance at practices, games, summer camp, and all scheduled activities.

Practice is a serious commitment, with team practices twice a week and strength and conditioning sessions with the coach on additional days.

Jefferson cheerleaders support school sanctioned events and all home men's and women's basketball games, including post-season tournaments. The program includes co-ed and all-girl stunt groups.

Members of the Jefferson cheer team are well-rounded, balancing outside interests such as jobs, sororities/fraternities, or other campus organizations. Community involvement and volunteer services are expected to instill character and emphasize the importance of serving others.
