The Rams scored five straight points during the first set to snap a six-all tie and take an 11-6 lead.  Four Charger errors and two Hughes kills helped the Rams go on a 6-0 run and increase their cushion to 24-14.  Hughes finished the set with five kills.

Philadelphia trailed 8-4 in the second set before winning seven of the next eight points to grab an 11-9 lead. With the set tied at 18, Philadelphia rattled off four straight points on an Olson ace, two Charger errors, and a kill from sophomore Allison Manley (Saint Charles, Ill./Saint Charles East) to take a 22-18 advantage and control of the set.

The Rams had to overcome a 14-5 deficit to come back and win the third set. Philadelphia chipped away at the Dominican lead until Olson recorded a kill to tie the score at 24. Philadelphia received another Olson kill and a ball-handling error from Dominican to end the match.
