Johnson Breaks School Record; Women's Volleyball Falls in Three Sets to New Haven
PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University women's volleyball team (3-8) took on the University of New Haven (3-5) on Friday night non-conference action. The Chargers took all three sets from the Rams.

JOHNSON BREAKS DIGS RECORD
After securing 19 digs on the night, Rams' libero Cameron Johnson broke the school record for career digs. She now has 1,596 career digs, passing the previous record of 1,585 that was held by Alexis Leedy. Johnson will look to make history for Jefferson once more, becoming the first and only Ram in school history to have 1,600 career digs after this weekend.
Johnson currently holds three of Jefferson's top-10 digs in a single season with 462 (10th), 483 (8th), and 485 (7th) in school history. The senior from Norristown, Pa. has played in 113 matches and competed in 401 sets in her career.

Jefferson will have a quick turnaround as they compete in a tri-match on Saturday, September 21 as they head up to East Stroudsburg University. The Rams take on Saint Anselm College at 2:30 p.m. Jefferson will then face host institute Warriors at 5 p.m.
