Women's Volleyball Takes 3-0 Win Over Bloomfield 

BLOOMFIELD, N.J. - Thomas Jefferson University women's volleyball (6-10, 2-2) traveled on the road where the Rams took the sweep over Bloomfield College of Montclair State University (0-9, 0-4) in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action this Saturday afternoon. 

WHAT HAPPENED 

• Rams went ahead 8-2 early on in the match with kills by Jaysa Even, Morgan Martin, and Emily McKenna 

• The Bears got as close as two points, 9-7, before Jefferson pushed ahead 16-9 

• Bloomfield took four straight points to get the match at 16-13 

• The Rams went on a 9-1 run, with eight straight points, to take set one 25-14. Cameron Johnson had seven service aces in the first set 

• Jefferson began to take the lead in the second set, going up 7-4 and 11-6 during that run with Pemi Areola and Morgan Ritchie adding kills alongside McKenna 

• The Rams ended the second with seven straight points, winning it 25-11 

• Jefferson dominated the third set, allowing only three points for Bloomfield. The least amount of points given up since September 9, 2008 

• After a point for the Bears to make it 11-3, the Rams took the next 14 in a row to earn the CACC win 25-3 in the third set and 3-0 in the match 

• McKenna had 9 service aces in the match, with Johnson following behind with eight
