Box Score 2 Philadelphia, PA- The
Philadelphia University baseball team (5-10, 4-4 CACC) split their
Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) games at Dominican
College (10-7, 4-1 CACC). The Rams fell early losing 8-1, and
picked up the win 4-3 in the second game.
On the day, PhilaU freshman-pitcher Michael
DeLaney (Springfield, PA/Springfield-Delco) picked up the
loss. Rams freshman Russell Trojan (Springfield,
PA/Cardinal O'Hara) pitched eight innings in the second game,
with senior Eric Miele (East
Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) pitching the ninth and tenth innings,
getting his first win of the season.
In the second game junior outfielder Kevin
McGovern (Philadelphia, PA/Archbishop Ryan) had the
winning run in the 10th inning with freshman
Jeffrey Bohus (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East)
getting the RBI.
The team will return to action Wednesday (3/31) for a 3:00 p.m.
game at Caldwell College.
