Waterbury, CT- The Philadelphia University
men's soccer team (6-2, 4-1 CACC) suffered a 2-0 loss on the road
at Post University (1-4-2, 1-0-1 CACC) on Saturday afternoon.
The loss was PhilaU's second of the season, and the first in
September.
The Rams were outshot 15-7 by the defending Central Atlantic
Collegiate Conference (CACC) Champions.
Post notched their goals early and then late- getting the
game-winner just seven minutes in and the second at the 72:00 mark
in the second half.
PhilaU senior goalie Buddy Custer (Cinnaminson,
NJ/ Cinnaminson) had nine saves for the Rams, while Post's Nicholas
Gutbrod made five stops for the Eagles.
The Rams stay on the road for a Wednesday (9/30) contest at
Columbia Union College at 7:00 p.m.
