Community Engagement Highlights

2019-20
Had five teams finish in the Top 10 in the nation among DII programs for community engagement in the NCAA Team Works and Helper Helper Challenge for the 2019-2020 academic year. Three of the five teams finished first, which included Baseball, Men’s Soccer and Women’s Rowing. Men’s Tennis finished sixth and Women's Basketball finished ninth. The Rams totaled 3,759 community service hours in a shortened season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2018-19
Totaled a record 4,925 community service hours during the 2018-19 academic year.

2017-18
Finished the 2017-18 school year ranked No. 21 among all NCAA Division II institutions for community service hours.
The Jefferson Baseball team was the No. 1 ranked DII Baseball program for 2017-18 community service hours.

2015 NCAA Division II Award of Excellence Top 25 Finalst
The NCAA Division II Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) selects 25 colleges and universities as finalists for the Division II Award of Excellence. The award recognizes events and activities that exemplify the type of campus and community engagement that the division emphasizes.  Each finalist is awarded $500 for the event or activity for which they are recognized.
Top 25 Finalist: Baseball / Mason's Day
