Baseball Earns Third Game over Lincoln
LINCOLN UNIVERSITY, PA – Thomas Jefferson University baseball (16-14, 15-8) finished their series against Lincoln University (6-26, 2-20). The Rams earned the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) win over the Lions 19-9.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Jefferson had two doubles and a sacrifice flyout in the first inning to go up 3-0. Lincoln tied it in the bottom of the same inning
- The Lions got ahead of the Rams 9-4 off a four run third inning
- After getting a run in the fourth and fifth, the Rams put up four runs of their own in the seventh for a 10-9 lead. They tacked on two more in the seventh and sealed it with seven in the ninth
