WATERBURY, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University men's basketball (15-8, 9-6) shot over 60% in the second half in all facets of the game as they went to take down Post University (9-14, 8-7) in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Saturday afternoon action.
 
WHAT HAPPENED
  • Jefferson used an 11-0 run to go up 17-9 over the Eagles. Post fought back and got within two points multiple times, but the Rams held onto the lead throughout the quarter and the rest of the contest
  • Jefferson continued their attack in the second half, pushing their lead as much as 19 points and not faltering lower than eight points early in the second quarter
  • Jefferson made 15 three-pointers in the game, nine in the first half
  • Isaiah Thomas-McClain led all scorers with 17 points on the day. Matt McCool and Sean Fullerton contributed 14 and 13 points respectively off the bench. Jahmare Memphis rounded out the double-digit scorers for the Rams, putting up 12 points
  • Taquan Williams had 15 points for the Eagles. Brody Limric (12) and Derrick Thomas II (11) all had double digit scoring for the Eagles
