Women's Soccer Placed 12th in Nation; Earns No.1 Spot in East For First Time
 
PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer jumped up to 12th in the latest United Soccer Coaches National Poll that was released on Tuesday. They were also slated as the top-seed in the East Region.
 
The Rams returned to the top-25 after going 2-0 on the week. They got a 1-0 victory over Southern Connecticut State University on Wednesday alongside a 3-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference victory win against Post University. Jefferson earned the top-spot in the East. This is the first time in program history that the Rams earned that high of a ranking in the East Region.
 
Jefferson gets the top spot after Franklin Pierce dropped four spots to fifth. Fellow CACC school Wilmington University is placed at second with Adelphi and Mercy securing third and fourth respectively. Saint Michael's (6th), Molloy (7th), Saint Anselm (8th), Assumption (9th), and Caldwell (10th) round out the top-10 in the East.
