JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – #18 nationally-ranked Thomas Jefferson University baseball (20-8) showcased its offensive firepower in a 19-11 win in the first game and a 15-0 shutout victory in the second game on Tuesday evening over Georgian Court (3-21). The Rams' offense exploded early, while pitcher Gabe Silva delivered a near-flawless outing in the second game, allowing just one hit and striking out 11 in a complete-game effort.

WHAT HAPPENED
GAME ONE: W, 19-11

• Georgian Court came out swinging, capitalizing on a series of well-placed hits and early Jefferson pitching struggles to put up seven runs in the first inning, seizing a 7-3 lead.
• The Rams didn't back down, answering with a four-run third inning, led by Gabe Silva's clutch two-run single and aggressive baserunning from Jay Kalieta, who swiped second before scoring on the RBI.
• Jefferson erupted for a five-run fourth inning, flipping the game in their favor. Gabe Silva struck again with another key RBI, while Justin Espinal and Luis Beato Mora each chipped in with run-scoring hits to give the Rams their first lead.
• With the offense rolling, Joshua Lopez delivered the knockout punch in the sixth, launching a two-run homer over the left-field fence to extend Jefferson's advantage. 
• In the seventh, Jay Kalieta showcased his speed and bat control, ripping an RBI triple into the gap before scoring to cap off Jefferson's dominant 19-run performance.

• Gabe Silva was untouchable on the mound, surrendering just one hit while striking out 11 batters in a 99-pitch masterpiece.
• Jefferson's infield turned key outs to keep Georgian Court off the scoreboard, securing their second consecutive win in dominant fashion.
