PHILADELPHIA - The Thomas Jefferson University volleyball team upped its record to 11-0 (2-0 CACC) on Tuesday night with a 3-0 victory over visiting USciences.

GAMEPLAY
The Rams held an 8-7 lead in the first set. Jefferson pulled away with an 11-3 run to make it 19-10. The Rams went on to take the set 25-17. The Devils started the second frame strong with the first four points. USciences had a 10-6 lead when the hosts started to come back. Jefferson rallied for six of the next seven to go in front 12-11. The score was even at 14 then the Rams went ahead for good with a 9-2 surge. The Devils came within three (23-20) but Jefferson closed out the set, 25-21.

The two squads played a tight third set early with 10 ties in the frame. The last came at 14-all before Jefferson took control with a 6-2 rally. The visitors cut the deficit to three (23-20) before the Rams tallied two points to clinch the match with a 25-20 victory.
