PA- The Philadelphia University volleyball team (3-2, 1-0
CACC) pulled out a victory Tuesday night at home against
visiting Wilmington (Del.) University (3-6, 0-1 CACC) with a final
match score of 3-1. Freshman outside-hitter Leanna
Lillge (Ixonia, WI/ Water Town) lead the charge for
the Lady Rams putting up three service aces, 11 kills and 23
digs.
Set scores were: 28-26, 25-21,
20-25 and 25-15.
Other big players for PhilaU
included sophomore outside-hitter Danielle
Carney (Thousand Oaks, CA/ Thousand Oaks) who added 19
digs with nine kills and one service ace and junior setter
Adrienne
Stigura (Reading, PA/ Reading Central Catholic) who
came up with 15 digs and one service ace as well as 14
assists.
