Philadelphia, PA- The
Philadelphia University volleyball team (8-7, 4-1 CACC) got their
fifth-straight win 3-1 over Post University on Homecoming Weekend
for the Lady Rams. Junior Celena Rendon (San
Antonio, TX/ Tom C. Clark) had 18 kills and three digs. Set
scores were 22-25, 25-15, 25-14, 25-15.
The Lady Rams trailed after losing the first set, but jumped out
to an 8-4 lead in the second set and did not look back after that.
Senior Lindsay Butler (DeKalb, IL/ Dekalb) had
nine kills and a .571 attack percentage, while senior Katie Miller
(Elkton, MD/ Rising Sun) stayed consistent with six kills and six
digs.
Freshman Adrienne Stigura (Reading, PA/ Reading
Central Catholic) had 18 assists for Phila U.
The Lady Rams will hit the road for the next three matches, the
first on Tuesday, October 7th at Georgian Court College
at 7:00 p.m.
