Philadelphia, PA- The
Philadelphia University volleyball team (17-9, 12-3 CACC) held
Chestnut Hill College (1-18, 0-14 CACC) to a negative attack
percentage (-.125) in a 3-0 shutout at the Gallagher Center on
Thursday night. The Lady Rams have now won six straight
matches.
Set scores were: 25-14, 25-7 and 25-14.
Junior Celena Rendon led the way with a
season-high 19 kills for PhilaU, along with four digs.
Sophomore setter Lauren Hoover (New Baltimore, MI/
Anchor Bay) had 29 assists and eight digs in the victory.
PhilaU will head to West Chester University for a tri-match on
Saturday, November 1st taking on WCU at 11:00 a.m. and
C.W. Post at 1:00 p.m.
