Box Score Four players scored in double-figures for Philadelphia
University, helping the Rams to a 77-58 victory over West Chester University on
Thursday, November 29th, in men's basketball action at the
Gallagher Center. The victory is the first of the season for
the Rams, who improve to 1-5 overall while the Golden Rams fall to
1-2 on the young season.
Junior guard Mike Dunn scored 17 of his
team-high 19 points in the opening half as the Rams opened up a
37-28 advantage after 20 minutes of play. Dunn's first-half
performance included a 6 of 7 performance from the field including
five three-point field goals. In the second half, it was
senior forward Jason Hickenbottom's turn to lead
the Rams, as he scored 16 of his 18 points in the second
frame. In addition to Dunn and Hickenbottom, sophomore point
guard Russell Frederick added 14 points, nine
assists and five boards while fellow sophomore Malcolm
Ingram added 13 points while battling foul trouble all
game.
West Chester was paced by junior center Ralph
Hegamin, who poured in a game-high 20 points and collected
ten boards, while sophomore forward Kehinde
Roberts added 11 points and a pair of steals.
