Memphis, Mykalcio Earn Final Weekly Awards of Season
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Thomas Jefferson University men's basketball took home two awards in the final Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Weekly Awards for the 2025-26 season. Freshman Jahmare Memphis walks away with his fourth straight Rookie of the Week honors while graduate student Brendan Mykalcio was named Defensive Player of the Week. These total the Rams weekly award winners to eighth on the year.
JAHMARE MEMPHIS
Memphis adds to his collection as he takes home his fifth weekly award on the year while making it Memphis' fourth straight Rookie of the Week recognition. Memphis scored a career-high 30 points, going 10-of-17 on the floor as he shot 59%. He also was 6-of-12 from beyond the arc while adding 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals as he helped Jefferson earned the victory over Chestnut Hill.
BRENDAN MYKALCIO
Mykalcio finishes with his first weekly award honors on the year. Mykalcio scored 13 points, grabbed 13 rebounds with 11 being on the defensive side, went 5-of-9 on the floor, dished out 5 assists, blocked 2 shots, and stole the ball once in Jefferson's 82-72 win over the Griffins.
