Scored 1,293 points in high school … Named the Inter-Ac MVP in each of his last two seasons … As a senior he was named first team All City Daily News, Associated Press AAA All-State and all city, as well as MVP by the Daily Local News after averaging 17 points, six rebounds and three assists per game … A team captain as a junior and senior … During his junior season he was named to the Main Line Times First Team, Associated Press AAA All-State Second Team, and All City Daily News Third Team.
