Men's Basketball Downed by Goldey-Beacom
WILMINGTON, Del. – Thomas Jefferson University men's basketball (9-6, 5-3) went on the road and took on Goldey-Beacom College (11-6, 5-4). The Rams were unable to keep up with the Lightning as they fell 109-72 in Wednesday evening Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action.
WHAT HAPPENED
- First half saw the Rams looking to keep up as the Lightning shot 62.5% on the floor and 55.56% from three. Jefferson had a 43.75 shooting percentage on the court. Shane Cercone and Jeremiah Dorsey put up seven points apiece while Brendan Mykalcio had nine off the bench. Julian Williams and Brian Blanchet put up 14 points each for Goldey-Beacom
- The second half had Jefferson hold the Lightning in points but were still outscored 47-36. Moustapha Sanoh added 10 points while Jahmare Memphis had seven of his own. 10 different Rams had a basket in the second half
- Sanoh led the team with 13 points while Cercone and Mykalcio scored 11 apiece. Dorsey put up 10 on his own. Goldey-Beacom had seven players score in double digits
