NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University women's soccer looks to repeat as conference champions as they have been selected to finish first in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Women's Soccer Preseason Poll, announced by the conference this morning.
 
The Rams finished the 2024 season with a historic 19-1-3 record while going undefeated in CACC conference play with a perfect 11-0 mark the season. Jefferson went into the conference tournament as the top-seed and left with the CACC title, securing their spot for a fifth straight NCAA Tournament appearance. The Rams won their first ever NCAA postseason game and ended their season in the Sweet 16. The 11th nationally ranked squad will be led by Michelle Jacquette, who comes into this season in her first year as the Rams head coach.
 
Jefferson begins their year on the road as they go up against St. Thomas Aquinas College on Sunday, September 7 at 1:30 p.m. The Rams will have their first home game on Wednesday, September 17 as they take on Southern Connecticut State at 2 p.m., with the Owls being the only team who gave Jefferson their lone loss from last season.
