Ammerlaan Named Goalkeeper of the Year; Five Rams Named to CACC All-Conference Team
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Thomas Jefferson University women's lacrosse sophomore was named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Goalkeeper of the Year as the Rams had five Rams named to the CACC All-Conference Team, announced by the conference office this afternoon. Ammerlaan and
Audrey Cashin were named to the CACC All-Conference First Team while
Iris Gluck,
Faith Hardy, and
Gabby Modzelewski made All-Conference Second Team.
Ammelaan takes her first yearly award in her career and for Jefferson since 2021. She gets her second All-Conference nod after making Second Team in 2024. Ammerlaan started in all 17 contests for Jefferson, earning 129 saves on the year with a 9.99 goals-against-average (4th in the CACC and 21st in Division II) and 45.9 save percentage (5th in the conference and 29th in nation). The Branchburg, N.J. native has six contests with 10+ saves and six with six or fewer goals allowed, including a shutout over Caldwell. Ammerlaan reached the 200 career save mark this year as she is at 247 through her first two seasons for Jefferson. The sophomore goalkeeper has been named CACC Goalkeeper of the Week once this season, with one appearance on the CACC Honor Roll.
Cashin makes her first All-Conference Team in her career, playing in all 17 contests with 15 starts this season. She leads the team with 30 caused turnovers and third with 41 ground balls while having four draw controls this season. The Mount Laurel, N.J. native helps anchor a defense that has allowed 9.06 goals-per-game, second in the conference and 20th in the nation while only allowing a 38.7 shot percentage.
Gluck earns her third straight All-CACC Second Team honors after making it in 2023 and 2024. She leads the team and is second in the CACC with 91 draw controls, holding a 5.35 average this season which is third in the conference. The junior has 30 draw controls, second on the team, and 41 ground balls, third with the Rams, while scoring 22 goals and dishing out 11 assists. The Coopersburg, Pa. native also reached two milestones this season with 100 career ground balls and 200th draw control, currently at 209 draw controls and 119 ground balls through three seasons with Jefferson. Gluck was named CACC Defensive Player of the Week once on the year with an appearance on the CACC Honor Roll one time.
Hardy is recognized on the All-Conference Team for the third time in her career, being on the All-CACC First Team in 2024 and 2025. She is second on the team and eighth in the conference with 43 ground balls and 12th in the CACC as she has 26 caused turnovers. The Audubon, N.J. native joins Cashin on the defensive end that has allowed 9.06 goals-per-game, second in the conference and 20th in the nation while only allowing a 38.7 shot percentage. The senior reached her own milestone this season with 100 career ground balls, currently sitting at 136 from her four years as a Ram.
Modzelewski earns her third straight CACC All-Conference Second Team nod after being on the squad in 2023 and 2024. The senior is tied for first on the team with 34 goals this season, putting her at 14th in the conference while being 11th as she has a 2.27 goals-per-game average. The Rockville Centre, N.Y. native is tied for third on the team with 11 assists, helping her to a team-leading 59 points on the season. She has registered 29 draw controls (third on the team), 20 caused turnovers (fourth), and 19 ground balls (tied for seventh). Modzelewski reached a milestone on the year with 100 career points, currently at 122 through four years at Jefferson. She was named to the CACC Honor Roll once this year.
