Women's Lacrosse Records Shutout on Senior Day
PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University women's lacrosse (9-7, 7-1) put up 16 goals in the first half as the Rams pushed for their second straight blowout with a 21-0 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) win over Caldwell University (2-11, 2-6) in Monday afternoon action as Jefferson honored their seniors on Senior Day.
WHAT HAPPENED
- 10 goals were produced in the first quarter with Emily Ryder, Gabby Modzelewski, Meaghan Avanzato, Taylor Hood, Lindley Gori, and Reagan Rogers all had at least one goal during the first 15 minutes of action. Ryder scored all three of her goals in the first quarter while Modzelewski had two of her three in the same quarter
- Avanzato, Rogers, Modzelewski, Chloe Naylor, Kyle Hardy, and Lilly Lutz all produced a goal in the second quarter for Jefferson
- Kayla Juralewicz and Tori LaFalce added their own shot to the back of the net in the third quarter, with Lutz, Gori, and Emma Baker all putting the finishing touches in the Rams 21-0 win
- Kalyn Ammerlaan and Victoria Rossi each had two saves inside the goalie spot
