Women's Lacrosse Rolls Over Post
PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University (8-7, 6-1) began their first of three home games with a dominant performance as they rolled over Post University (0-8, 0-8) in Thursday afternoon Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) action.
WHAT HAPPENED
- Jefferson had a stellar first quarter, putting up eight goals with six different Rams scoring in that span. Taylor Hood, Lilly Lutz, Gabby Modzelewski, and Reagan Rogers all had a goal before the game elapsed five minutes. The Eagles got on the board after, but Rogers and Lutz put up another goal alongside Meaghan Avanzato and Iris Gluck
- Second quarter saw more defensive play with both teams as only four goals were scored. Modzelewski, Lutz, and Rogers all had made their shot in the back of the net while Post had their own goal to have it at 11-2 at the half
- Jefferson made the running clock going within 15 seconds in the second half as Tori LaFalce had her first of three goals in the third quarter at the 14:46 mark. Emily Ryder, Lutz, and Lindley Gori all had a goal apiece in the third as the game was a 17-2 lead heading into the fourth quarter
- Chloe Naylor, Taylor Hood, and Ryder all had two goals in the fourth quarter with Emma Baker adding one in the final 15 minutes to secure the Rams 24-2 win over Post
- Kalyn Ammerlaan and Victoria Rossi both had times in the goalie spot with only seven shots attempted at them throughout the game

Junior midfielder Iris Gluck had three early draw controls in the game, pushing her to 200 career draw controls. Her 87 on the year puts her at fourth in school history for a single season.
