Women's Tennis Defeated by Bloomsburg

BLOOMSBURG, PA – Thomas Jefferson University women's tennis (8-11) competed in non-confernece action against Bloomsburg University (8-2). The Rams kept it competitive but ultimately fell 4-3 to the Huskies. 

WHAT HAPPENED 

• Jefferson fell in the doubles point to Bloomsburg, losing in the second and third spots. Alycia Veroux and Nicole Hrbkova won in the first position, but the Rams trailed heading into singles competition 

• Veroux won in the first spot with the Huskies winning the fifth and third positions to be up 3-1 

• Rose Huang secured the next point in the fourth position to have the Rams trail by one. Bloomsburg took the victory with the sixth spot win. Hrbkova did earn a win in the second spot, but the game was already decided
