Nine CACC Qualifying Times as Women's Track & Field Earns Third in Purple & Gold Opener 

WEST CHESTER, PA – Thomas Jefferson University women's track & field team competed in the Purple & Gold Opener to begin the season. The Rams placed third out of 21 teams with nine performers making CACC qualifying times. 

WHAT HAPPENED 

  • 13 competitors were in the top 10, with seven placing in the top 5 

  • Annalee Capuano captured first place in the 800-meter race while placing second in the 1500-meter competition. Hannah Powell got second and fourth in the same events respectively as well as Natalie McFadden (third and fifth). Each runner made a qualifying time
