Women's Tennis Falls to Eckerd in Second Florida Game
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Thomas Jefferson University women's tennis (8-9) take their second game down in Florida and are unable to get the victory as they are defeated 6-1 to Eckerd College (5-5) in non-conference action.
WHAT HAPPENED
- The Tritons took the doubles point with two 6-0 in the second and third spots. Nicole Hrbkova and Alycia Veroux won their doubles game 7-5 in the first spot, but the Rams still trailed going into the single games
- Eckerd took victories in five of the six singles contests. Rose Huang edged out Maialen Idiakez in three sets at the fourth spot.
