Softball Opens Season Against #16 East Stroudsburg
EAST STROUDSBURG, PA – Thomas Jefferson University softball (0-2) began their 2025 season on Wednesday as they headed on the road to face against #16 East Stroudsburg University (11-3). The Warriors took both contests over the Rams with a 8-0 score in game one and 6-2 in game two.

After a scoreless fourth by both teams, Jefferson scored their first run on the season at the top of the fifth as Tori Lipka ground out at first let Jordan Diering score to get the Rams on the board. Another score in the sixth as Elizabeth Proctor ran to homeplate from a sacrifice fly by Sabrina Lanasa to make it a 5-2 game

Devin Brandley pitched 2.2 innings, allowing seven hits and four runs with a strikeout. Lily Hutt pitched the next 3.1 innings, giving up only four hits,one earned run, and strikeout as well.
