Close First Half Not Enough as #9 Warriors Defeat Women's Lacrosse

EAST STROUDSBURG, PA – After holding the Warriors to a two-point advantage coming off the break, the Rams defense could not hold down the offensive attack with a 10-1 differential as Thomas Jefferson University women's lacrosse (1-1) drops their non-conference contest to #9 nationally-ranked East Stroudsburg University (1-0) in Saturday afternoon competition. 

WHAT HAPPENED 

• East Stroudsburg put three straight goals on the board. The Rams responded with two of their own from Lilly Lutz and Iris Gluck respectively. 

• After another three straight goals by the Warriors, Jefferson got three of the next four by Reagan Rogers, Emily Ryder, and Lutz as they went into the break only down 7-5 

• East Stroudsburg began to show why they were a NCAA Tournament semifinalist a season ago as they went on a 10-1 run in the final 30 minutes  

• Gluck put the only Ram goal in the fourth quarter as Jefferson fell 17-6 to the Warriors
