Men's Basketball Holds Late Griffins Surge to Earn CACC Rivalry Win
PHILADELPHIA – The Thomas Jefferson University men's basketball team (10-7, 4-3) had a strong first half that had them up by double the score of the Griffins. WHAT HAPPENED
- The Rams went on a scoring spree in the first half, scoring 28 points while the Griffins produced 24. Jefferson relied on precise shooting, going 18-of-33 on the floor, but the important detail was going 10-of-14 from beyond the arc

- Chestnut Hill refused to go down without a fight, taking the second half with a 44-32 scoring advantage
- After Justin Hawkins made a pair of free throws, the Griffins went on a 23-2 run that lasted eight minutes. Chestnut Hill cut the Ram lead to 52-47
- Jefferson wouldn't allow the Griffins within more than five points, seeing Hawkins make another pair of free throws and Fullerton nailing a three. Miller's jumper turned it to a 59-90 game with 9:11 left on the clock
