Raheem Earns 100th Victory as Volleyball Sweeps Dominican
PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University volleyball team (10-7, 7-0) achieved a milestone as head coach
Latifa Raheem earned her 100
th career win as the Rams head coach in a 3-0 sweep over Dominican University of New York this Saturday afternoon.
WHAT HAPPENED
The Rams went out on a quick start in the first set as they would keep their lead and win 25-14. They would replicate those results in the second, 25-10, and third sets, 25-16, to push the Rams in a 3-0 win, earning their fourth straight win in a row and seventh consecutive conference win, pushing them in the lead in the CACC.
Jess Molen lead the team with 15 kills on the day, with
Cameron Johnson having 14 digs and
Caroline Bond recording 33 assists.

MILESTONE
This win would push head coach
Latifa Raheem to 100 in her career with the Rams. Being hired in 2018, Raheem has lead the Rams to success with four straight appearances in the CACC Tournament. (2020 was not played due to Covid-19). Raheem has helped Jefferson win back-to-back CACC Championships, leading them to the NCAA Tournament more times than they have participated in school history (once in 2016).
