MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Thomas Jefferson University volleyball team (9-3) dropped a non-conference match at Millersville (10-7) on Tuesday night, 3-0.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Rams trailed 7-4 in the opening set before rallying for five straight points to take a 9-7 lead. With the score even at 18, the Marauders pulled away with a 5-0 run of their own and went on to win the set 25-20.
 
The second set was a tight affair that saw 14 ties during the frame. With the two sides deadlocked at 21, Millersville posted four of the next six points, all via kill, to take the set 25-23. The Marauders then dominated the final stanza, scoring seven of the first nine points and six of the last seven in the set to clinch the match with a 25-14 victory.
