PHILADELPHIA - The Thomas Jefferson University men's basketball team (15-4, 11-1 CACC) shot at a 60 percent clip for the second time this season and routed visiting Post, 98-70, at the Gallagher Center on Saturday.

GAMEPLAY
It was 2-2 early in the first half before the Rams took over with an 8-0 run. Jefferson held a 20-15 advantage with 9:03 on the clock then scored 18 of the next 22 points to up the margin to 19 (38-19).
Erik Timko led the way with 10 points. Timko hit a three with 1:48 to go and the Rams led by 20 (45-25). The Eagles cut it to 16 (47-31) at the break.

Jefferson shot even better from the field in the second half, posting a 65.5% rate. The closest that Post came in the period was 13 (51-38) with 17:57 on the clock but the Rams followed with five points to push it back to an 18-point advantage. With the score 65-48, Jefferson went on a 12-0 run to claim its largest lead of the evening, 77-48, with 11:05 left.
Darius Kinnel and Timko each recorded five points during the stretch.
