RUTHERFORD, N.J. - The Thomas Jefferson University men's basketball team (16-5, 12-2 CACC) got back in the win column with a 75-66 triumph at Felician in conference action on Saturday.

GAMEPLAY
The teams traded baskets in the early going until the Rams held a 9-8 lead. They recorded the next six points to increase the margin to seven (15-8) with 12:18 to go. Trailing 20-13, the Golden Falcons went on a 7-0 run to even the score with 9:03 on the clock. However, Jefferson responded with a 12-2 surge to take a 32-22 advantage with 5:15 left.
Antonin Kemkeng led the way with six points. The Rams remained in control and had a 40-29 halftime lead.

Kemkeng made a layup to begin the second half and give Jefferson a 13-point cushion (42-29). Felician rallied back with 12 straight points to get within one (42-41). The Rams built the margin back to five (51-46) but the Golden Falcons got hot again, netting six in a row to take a 52-51 lead with 11:47 to play.

Now trailing, Jefferson did back down, replying with 10 of the next 13 to jump in front 61-55 with 8:20 to go.
Erik Timko registered eight of the 10 points. The Rams would not trail again. Felician was only able to get within four (64-60) before Jefferson pulled away with a 7-0 stretch that ended with 4:00 remaining. Timko scored five of the points, finishing with 16 in the second period alone.
