PHILADELPHIA - Gabe Paz netted the winning goal with 7:23 on the clock in the first overtime period to give the Thomas Jefferson University men's soccer team (3-6-2, 2-5-1 CACC) a 2-1 victory over Bloomfield at Ravenhill Field on Sunday.

GAMEPLAY
The Bears got off to a hot start, recording five shots and four corner kicks in the opening nine minutes. However, the Rams weathered the assault and stunned Bloomfield with the first goal of the contest in the 12
th minute.
Luke Wojciechowski sent a ball forward from the backline in perfect position for
Michele Ganz, who got a step on a defender and blasted the ball into the left side of the cage. Jefferson had the only remaining shot on frame for the period and took a 1-0 lead into the break.

In the second, the Bears took just 2:30 to tally the equalizer on a loose ball in the box. The Rams had a 3-1 advantage in shots on goal for the rest of regulation but the game needed extra time. Less than three minutes into overtime,
Rob Arnason found himself with the ball and tapped it back to
Mateo Infante. Infante booted a service into the box that was settled by Paz. Paz was able to turn and beat the goalkeeper to the left side for the winning tally.
