Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University
men's soccer team (4-5, 2-3 CACC) was topped 3-0 by the Holy Family
University Tigers (6-1-1, 4-0-1 CACC) on Tuesday afternoon at
Ravenhill Field. The loss was the first in October for the
Rams.
HFU got on the board at 22:54 in the first half, scoring on a
deflection from a hard shot by Seydou Ba. HFU carried the 1-0
lead into halftime.
In the second period, the Tigers struck again at 31:27, on a
zinger by Ba, assisted by Keith Crews to lead 2-0. With 16
minutes to play, HFU added a third goal by Jeff Wimsey, assisted by
Ba.
The Rams continue their season on Saturday (10/8) at Caldwell
College at 2 p.m.
