Box Score DOBBS FERRY, N.Y. – The Philadelphia University men's soccer team was shutout by host Mercy College, 3-0, in a non-conference contest Wednesday afternoon at Mavericks Field.
The Rams are now 5-11 overall. Philadelphia concludes its season with a non-conference match Monday, Oct. 31 against Molloy College at Ravenhill Field starting at 3 p.m.
Mercy (6-9-1) opened the scoring in the 11th minute on a goal by Roberto Dashi. Daniel Leon's initial shot was blocked by a teammate and the ball landed at Dashi's feet. Dashi's shot found the back of the net to make it 1-0.
The game stayed 1-0 until the 75th minute when Moustapha Dioum headed in a corner kick taken by Colin Legge. William Koki added an unassisted goal in the 84th minute.
Philadelphia keeper Thomas Attamante recorded six saves. Mercy's Nick Papas stopped four shots. Mercy outshot Philadelphia, 15-7.
