Philadelphia, PA- Seven wins-that's how long
the streak the Philadelphia University Rams (17-6, 15-2) volleyball
team has now extended to with a 3-0 blanking of the Goldey-Beacom
College Lightning (7-17, 1-14 CACC) on Tuesday evening at the
Gallagher Athletic Center.
Set scores were: 25-22, 25-11, 25-13.
Helping the home team's cause was freshman outside-hitter and
recent CACC 'Rookie of the Week' (for the fourth time) Leanna
Lillge, who had a game-high 10 kills and 13
digs.
PhilaU freshman libero/middle-hitter Brittany
Olson led the Ram's with three service aces, along with
three digs while senior setter Lauren
Hoover tallied 15 sets and 11 digs on the night.
GBC was piloted by Tyla Wells' nine kills.
PhilaU is back at it again on Friday (10/29) evening for a 7
p.m. match vs. city rival Holy Family University.
