Men's Soccer Pushes Unbeaten Streak to Four in 2-0 Win

Flushing, NY The Philadelphia University men's soccer team (9-4-1, 7-1-1 CACC) pushed their unbeaten streak to four with a 2-0 win at Queens College (4-10-1) on Tuesday.  Junior forward Milos Racic had the game-winner.

The Rams have not lost now in nearly two weeks, going 3-0-1 since an October 6th game vs. non-conference foe Millersville.

Racic notched the game-winning goal at 40:07 off a defensive misplay, beating QC goalie Dario Cabanas on a one vs. one opportunity.

The Ram's insurance goal came at 59:59 as senior defender Wojciech Sliwinski headed a corner kick in, assisted by sophomore defender Travis Lobb.

PhilaU rookie goalie Alex Heston had one save in 80 minutes, while junior Jack Purdy came in for the remainder of the match.  Cabanas made four stops for QC.

PhilaU returns home for a 12:00 p.m. senior-day match on Saturday (10/23) vs. Dominican College at Ravenhill Field.
