Philadelphia, PA- The women's tennis team (3-1,
2-0 CACC) defeated the University of the Sciences 8-1 on Saturday
morning at the Abraham J. Salaman '58 Courts on the campus of
Philadelphia University.
First singles junior Daniela Rodriguez (Quito,
Ecuador/ Colegio Menor) won a three-setter 6-2, 1-6, 6-3 over USP's
Sara Durham, and won at #1 doubles with junior partner
Stephanie Reinke (St. James, NY/ Smithtown) 8-2.
The Lady Ram's dropped just one point, at #6 singles.
PhilaU returns to action tomorrow (9/13) when they host Rider
for both men's and women's matches, beginning at 12:00 p.m.
