Box Score Nyack, NY- The Philadelphia University Rams
(12-3, 5-0 CACC) seized a 62-50 road victory over the Nyack College
Warriors (5-11, 3-3 CACC) on Tuesday evening. The Rams were
led by a game high 16 points and seven rebounds from junior forward
Malcolm Ingram (Philadelphia, PA/ Solebury Prep).
The Rams out-shot Nyack 46%-35% from the floor, and shot 80%
from the charity stripe.
PhilaU led by as many as eight points through the first nine
minutes of the opening half, but a NC trey at 11:18 cut the Ram
lead to 14-13. Senior guard Mike Dunn
(Harrisburg, PA/ Central Dauphin) hit a three of his own to give
the Rams back the lead. Dunn had 13 points in the game,
including three treys.
The Rams led 35-24 at the break.
Junior guard Marcus Lemon (Alexandria VA/ T.C.
Williams) nailed the first basket of the second half at
18:37. He finished the night tied for a game-high 10
boards.
A jumper by junior forward Mike Yocum (Dresher,
PA/ Episcopal Academy) pushed the PhilaU lead to 48-36 at 12:08 as
the Rams held the Warriors scoreless for the next four minutes.
Yocum had the Ram's only double-double with 12 points and 10
rebounds.
NC's Valiant Jones broke the silence with a made free-throw at
7:51, he led the Warriors with 14 points on the night.
The Rams made six of seven from the free-throw line in the final
minute to finalize the 62-50 CACC win.
