Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University
men's soccer team (6-6-3, 2-3-1 CACC) dropped a 3-0 match on the
road at Caldwell College (9-7, 6-2 CACC) on Saturday afternoon.
Caldwell is currently the #3 team in the CACC.
The Rams held off 11 Caldwell shots in the first half to go into
halftime tied 0-0, but that changed in the second stanza when the
Cougars knocked in three goals to run away with the 3-0 win.
The Rams were outshot 20-9.
Senior goalie Charles Custer (Cinnaminson, NJ/
Cinnaminson) had four saves in the first half for the Rams, while
freshman keeper Jason Barber (Princeton, NJ/
Princeton HS) allowed three goals and had no saves in the second
half.
The Rams will host Felician College on Tuesday, October 21st at
4:00 p.m. at Ravenhill Field.
