Michael Carboni was hired on October 9, 2023 as he enters his first season as an assistant coach for softball.
Carboni comes in with over a decade of athletic involvement at the high school and youth level. He comes from his recent stint at Abington High School as an Assistant JV Softball Coach where he was responsible for coaching the outfield and first base while designing drills and practices for the players. Carboni was with the eXpress Tournament Softball team as an Assistant Coach in 2016-2019 as a first base coach for 14u for two years and 16u for one year, with the teams winning two tournament championships and placing 13th out of 75 teams in the US at the National Tournament 2017 level under 14u. He was also an Assistant Coach for Springfield Township Softball in 2017 and Upper Dublin Athletic Association as a Assistant Rec. Coach for ages 6u-8u in 2010-2012. Carboni is a certified USA Softball ACE Certified Coach for six years and a PONY Certified Coach in 2019.
