Bob Baginski

Bob Baginski enters his third season as head softball coach in 2025-26.

Baginski coached the Rams to a 13-20 record in his first season, including five in a row that earned him his first CACC victory against Dominican. Baginski had the Rams finish 10th in the conference, with Jefferson winning their final three games of the season against Georgian Court and a sweep over Chestnut Hill.

During the 2025 year, Jefferson posted a 16-26 record, emphasizing the importance of league play as the Rams finished 13-9 in the CACC. That earned them fourth place in the CACC Championships and a home contest, the first for the program since 2019. He got his squad a 3-1 win over Caldwell to advance to the CACC Elimination Portion of the bracket, where Jefferson got the 2-0 upset victory over top-seed and host institution University of Bridgeport in the first game of the elimination tournament.

Baginski has coached two All-Conference players during his time as the Ram's head coach as well as a Rookie of the Year (Delaney Alix - 2025). In the classroom, Jefferson has accumulated 13 CACC All-Academic students.

Baginski brings nearly two decades of experience at the high school and youth levels to the Rams’ program. Most recently, Baginski was the head coach at Abington High School, where he led the program to the district playoffs for the first time since 2015. Baginski’s squads garnered a dozen All-League selections and multiple players went on to continue their careers at the collegiate level. Off the field, he created fundraising events to generate revenue for the program, including clinics for local youth. Baginski was also an assistant coach for the Suburban One League team at the Carpenter Cup, helping the squad take third in 2022.

Prior to Abington, Baginski was a head coach for the eXpress Softball Club in Ambler from 2016-21. He had stints leading the 14U, 16U, and 18U squads while with the club. Several players were recruited by college programs with multiple continuing their careers in the collegiate ranks. Baginski’s teams claimed two tournament titles with a total of nine top-two finishes. His 14U unit placed 13th at the 2017 national championships. Baginski also has coached at the youth level with the Springfield Township and Upper Dublin leagues.

Baginski holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Delaware Valley University.
