Waskie joins the Rams coaching staff as an assistant coach in August 2024.
Andy Waskie has been with the Langhorne Lightning Softball Organization for over 13 years, having coached at every level of the sport from 6U up through 18U Gold. As a Head Coach, his Langhorne Lightning teams have won the NSA Nationals Tournament in Owensboro, KY, the USSSA Southeast Nationals in Nashville, TN, and have finished in the top 10 in every National Tournament event they have played in since 2018. His teams have competed in high level softball tournaments in the tri-state area and beyond, showcasing their talents in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Florida, Tennessee, Massachusetts, New York, South Carolina, Illinois, Virginia, Connecticut, Kentucky and Colorado.
Andy was unanimously voted Travel Director of Softball by the Langhorne Athletic Association Board of Directors and has overseen growth from a single travel team in 2018 to 12 as of 2025. “We are extremely proud of our players who took a chance on our program, believed in our core values of Teamwork, Heart and Family, and are providing a foundation for our program for the future.”
Andy also was an Assistant Coach for the 2024 6A State Championship Runner-Up Council Rock South Golden Eagles. Andy coordinated the pitching game and was responsible for implementing practice plans throughout the entire season.
