PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (Aug. 30, 2026) – The Thomas Jefferson University men's soccer team opened the 2026 campaign on Saturday at Bloomsburg University. The Huskies are currently ranked fifth in the Atlantic region, and Saturday's game came days after a tilt with regionally-ranked No. 6 West Chester University was rained out earlier in the week.
Jefferson had little room to operate against a tough Bloomsburg team, but broke through with a late goal from sophomore attacker

Saturday's game saw both teams shake off some rust during the first official week of competition. Outside of the combined four goals scored, neither team managed to record a single save. Five different players fired off shots for the Rams, including Dell'Omo who made good on his only opportunity of the game. Meanwhile, three different Rams proved they could play the full 90 minutes at this stage of the season, including starting goalkeeper
