Three Women's Track & Field Athletes Earn USTFCCA All-Region Honors

NEW ORLEANS, LA – Thomas Jefferson University women's track & field had three student-athletes named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-East Region honors. A player is recognized as All-Region if they place in the top-5 in events they competed in. Olivia Grahn was a three-time All-Region honoree in the 5000 meters, 10,000 meters, and 3000-meter steeplechase. Natalie McFadden joins Grahan as an All-Region runner in the 3000-meter steeplechase while Annalee Capuano took that honor in the 800 meters.

OLIVIA GRAHN – 5000, 10000, STEEPLECHASE
Grahn gets on the list three times as an All-Region runner. She had her first honors in the 5000-meter race with a 17:32.69 time, a school record, at the Paul Donahue Invitational. It was third fastest time in the region. The second All-Region event was the 10,000-meter race, taking the top spot and the school record with a 36:22.53 time at the Danny Curran Invitational. Grahn's third All-Region recognition was in the 3000-meter steeplechase as she was the top runner in the East Region with a 10:50.08 time. That puts her not only as the top of the school record books for the event, but it was also a NCAA Qualifying mark as well. Grahn ran that time at the Ursinus Springfest.

NATALIE MCFADDEN – STEEPLECHASE
McFadden takes in her second All-Region honors in the steeplechase as she was second in the East Region. The junior ran a 10:54.59 time at the Paul Donahue Invitational this year, giving her NCAA Qualifying marks as well. McFadden has placed in the top-six in all events she has ran this year, including three second place finishes in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Championships to make the All-Conference Second Team.

ANNALEE CAPUANO – 800 METERS
Capuano makes her second All-Region honors in track & field, with this being her first in the 800-meter race. She was fifth in the region as she had a 2:16.15 time at the Paul Donahue Invitational, her time finish in the event. Capuano went onto win the 800 meter race in the CACC Championship for the first time in her career.
