PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis (7-5) hosted Adelphi University (9-4) in a NCAA East Regional Rematch of last year. The Rams get out ahead 4-1 over the Panthers to secure a 4-3 victory in Tuesday afternoon action.
 
WHAT HAPPENED

• Jefferson took the doubles point after winning the tiebreaker match. Antonio Mateos Melenchon and Jules Thibault earned the third spot victory while Adelphi won in the first position. Enrique Soto Ballester and Anthony Moukarzel took a 6-4 win in the second doubles spot to give Jefferson the first point heading into the singles matches
• The Rams secured the win, taking three of the first four singles matches that finished with Mario Antonio winning in the first spot while Moukarzel secured the third position win. After the Panthers got their first point in the sixth position, Soto Ballester finished the series with a three-set victory to help Jefferson get the win over Adelphi
