Men's Tennis Comebacks to Defeat West Virginia State

PHILADELPHIA – Thomas Jefferson University men's tennis (3-2) were trailing in multiple singles contests, but rallied in three of them to take a 4-3 victory over West Virginia State University (1-1) in Friday afternoon action. 

WHAT HAPPENED 

• The Yellow Jackets took the doubles point. They earned the third spot victory while Enrique Soto Ballester and Anthony Moukarzel earned the second position win 6-2 to have it at 1-1. West Virginia State earned the first spot win, taking the point heading into the singles contests 

• After winning the third position win and leading in multiple spots, the Rams won three straight in the third, second, and first positions. Anthony Moukarzel won their games in two sets while Mario Antonio and Antonio Mateos Melenchon rallied to take it in three sets 

• Soto Ballester ended it with a 7-5, 6-1 to earn the victory for Jefferson
